There Are No Strangers: Jowel and Pepper’s Travel Tale

When we met our new travel buddies!

Words and photos from hostel guest Jowel:

Me & my friend Pepper visited The Circle Hostel in Zambales on November last year to join the Tribes & Treks and to experience what was it like to be part of the “Circle.” We were really looking forward to meet new friends that time. And the Circle Hostel did not fail us. On our first night we met three solo travellers: KJ, Alfred and Jaysie. We met them at the common area while drinking some bottles of beer. They told us that they will also join the Tribes & Treks the next day. We continue the bonding and fun there.

And the rest is history!

We really had fun staying in the Circle Zambales. Most of the people we met at the common area thought that we were long time barkadas (group of friends). We told them that we just met at the Circle. It was a legit 2 days of barely knowing each other. But the connection and the bonding feels like years.

It stays until now. We continue to bond and travel after. We made a group chat named “#strangersintofriends” to continue the communication.

It was really an amazing experience to be part of the CIRCLE. You really live up to their #ThereAreNoStrangers when you travel.
